BNI Gauteng celebrates International Networking Week 2014

BNI provides a positive, supportive, and structured environment to exchange quality business referrals and is the largest business networking organization in the world.
They offer members the opportunity to share ideas, contacts and most importantly, business referrals.
Last year members of BNI passed thousands of referrals, which generated over 4 billion dollars’ worth of business.
In South Africa the 107 Chapters with 2,445 members referred R454m business deals during 2012. The Gauteng BNI Chapters showed the largest growth and referred R31m during the last year.
The International Networking Week has been held since 2007 during the first week in February each year and has been recognized by many organizations and governmental agencies around the world.
To celebrate the International Networking Week 2014 the Johannesburg, Midrand and Centurion Chapters of BNI held a special day in Midrand.
Mike Levin, National Director BNI South Africa welcomed all and Paul du Preez, BNI Executive Director discussed how “Vision brings Provision” and he also launched his book, Secrets to Obtain your Massive Bank Account.
International guest speaker Colin J Browne discussed the topic of his book, How to Build a Happy Sandpit, in the working environment.
Sandy Geyer, a specialist in working with entrepreneurs in New Zealand, Australia and South Africa, presented her book Path of the Lion: Build your EnQ, Build your Business.
The BNI Tshwane Chapters also held a special day in Centurion with Sandy Geyer and Brian Walsh, leading authority on entrepreneurship and human behaviour and founder of The REAL Entrepreneur Institute, as special guest speakers.
Workshops by SJ Pretorius, Focussing on the right critical business areas, Gustav Rischmüller Align your brand with your market, Jacobus van der Merwe Personal wealth creation and risk management, Divan de Clercq Let your resources work for you and Elmo Lombard Marketing in the Google and Facebook age were presented.
A successful business Expo with 34 exhibitors was also held.
