Hirsch’s Centurion celebrated Nine Years

Customers and staff were treated on cakes, coffee and other snacks on 1 August 2015 when Hirsch’s Centurion celebrated the ninth birthday of the store.
The store was buzzing with customers cashing in on the massive special discounts available while outside Radio Pretoria had a live broadcast and an interview with Joanne Brunette, PRO at the store.
The first of a monthly market organized by Linda Levendag (Dragonflies Media and Design) were well attended and live music was also provided.

Medals for Local Taekwondo Students

Local Taekwondo students took medals in the COSATA (Confederation of Southern African Taekwondo Associations) Championships held in August 2014 in Rustenburg.
The Boyanala Mayor’s Championships hosted countries from all over Southern Africa like Lesotho, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Botswana, South Africa, Tanzania etc and was hosted by Master D Park.

World Human Rights Moot Court Competition 2011 final at UP

The Third World Human Rights Moot Court Competition was hosted on 8-9 December 2011 by the University of Pretoria’s Faculty of Law, with the support of the Regional Office for Southern Africa of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (ROSA).  
All law faculties have been invited to submit heads of argument on the basis of a hypothetical case and three teams from each of the five UN regions were invited to participate in the semi-finals and final round.

Burger is player of the tournament

South Africa’s Erin Burger finished the World Netball Championships on a High note when she was named Player of the Tournament.
Burger said she felt South Afrıca had distinguished themselves at the tournament, finishing in fifth place.
“If we can do this after sıx months, imagine what we can achieve after four years.”

Eating fruit on an empty stomach
